I took this shot out in the Virginia countryside this afternoon. Such a beautiful day! This is the sort of stuff I missed out on when I was running the corporate rat race.

I miss VA, the countryside at least, not the politics. Last summer, on the way back to TX from Norfolk, we took I-64 out to I-81 and drove the length of the Valley into TN. Absolutely gorgeous. TX is fine, but there's nothing like that rolling, verdant country.

Many of us do it. You, at least, know you have sacrificed for a future shot at that.

Some advice. Do not wait until you are 65 to do these things you crave (and I know you don't). They may not be easy and enjoyable then. Rant over.
